A New home...

Hey there, Dandy fans new and old. As many of you may know the old "Dandy & Company" website went down a while back and has been down ever since due to financial considerations beyond my control. As such, I'm rebuilding the "D&C" online experience HERE. Now, obviously, this new format is pretty bare bones with little in the way of frills and extras. Really, this is basically just the place to find links to the existing print collections and to see when new material goes online.

It's maybe not the IDEAL solution, but it's a solution and I hope you enjoy the new material when i t begins running (with any luck) this fall.

  1. Yay! I am so excited to see this! ~claps~ I've always wondered what happened to Dandy! I thought I was going crazy when I couldn't find it.

  2. Basically, what it comes down to was a lack of finances that killed the old site. I simply wasn't able to devote the resources to keep it up and still, ya' know, eat.

Hence the new format here on Blogspot. I know that the MASSIVE archive of old strips is now gone, (Online anyway, the strips can always be read in print form) but at least there's a new place for me to post NEW strips.

  4. Claps~ Yay!

Still sad to see all the old comics down, they cheered me up to go through them, but it'll be good to see what the gang is all gonna be up to!

And now it is just an excuse to save up some money so I can actually buy the books ~laughs~

  6. Cool! Glad to see you back online. :D
I'm a huge fan of Dandy's adventures and was wondering if the gang will be back...
Blogger might not be the ideal solution to publish comic strips but there's always a way to try to make the best of it. ;)
Me and some friends have a blog were we post some daily webcomics and I created the all look to adapt to what we wanted: Quadradinhos INk. ;)

  7. It's not ideal, but it gets the job done. I can post new material as I get it done, link to the "bookshop" and dispense news as it happens.

Right now, I don't know how to upload the archives in any way, but it's honestly not my priority right now. The "World Famous Comics" site has a nice selection of older strips to familiarize new readers with the history of the series and that works for me. One of the old issues that led to my stopping the strip was finances. Giving away the entire archive for free didn't exactly inspire folks to buy the books, making the strip less then financially viable.

Frankly, it STILL isn't financially viable, but it isn't all about money. I still love these characters and want to give their adventure a proper capper.

  8. There you are! Wow, I was wondering if I should send you an email or something because it felt like you'd dropped off the face of the earth (although I knew that wasn't the case, since your Wellkeeper site has been getting updates.) I sure am anxious about the new material, considering the old site conked out halfway through a storyline, so that'll be exciting to see. I hope you recover from your financial troubles soon... take it from someone who's going through financial troubles of his own. Don't we all? I'm not too familiar with Blogspot myself, but it's better than nothing. I'll be sure to bookmark this location and stay tuned for further updates.

  10. While actively playing Runescape, I usually Buy Runescape Gold from reliable web-sites. The principal intent of getting gold from this website is, the website is trusted and provides most inexpensive Runescape Gold even although in the cheap swtor credits market.

  11. Woman’s beauty lace wedding dresses with the passing years, so does the vintage wedding dresses. Slipping into a piece of vintage clothing bestow the magic of provenance upon your original attractiveness. Our wedding dresses 2012 collectibles capture this very essence of historical statement by flashing back to the pristine demeanor while infusing some modern interpretation. Then and there, your cherished memory flows out with the singing of Yesterday Once More.
