While I'd like to get as much of the old archive of strips up and online as is possible, I also want to focus on the creation of NEW material. Thankfully, it turns out I can kinda have that cake and eat it too, thanks to "WORLD FAMOUS COMICS".
It was recently brought to my attention that there were quite a few major storylines that were collected and archived on "WORLD FAMOUS COMICS" that I completely forgot I approved for the fine folks over there to do. (Silly artist that I am.)
Oh, and just because I'm STILL geeking out about it, the intrepid person that sought out and FOUND this archive just to read the strips? JEFF "BONE" SMITH!

ReplyDeleteAs of right now, re-uploading the entire archive from 2001 to the "World Famous Comics" site isn't on my "to-do" list, as it would take entirely too much of my time and energy to manage. And this new site is a free blog site and doesn't have the infrastructure to house the over 2,000 back strips. I'm trying to keep focused on the future and write a satisfying follow up to the strip as it's been.
ReplyDeleteI'm currently happy that there are at least some old strips online for folks new to the strip to familiarize themselves with the characters and their world, and for folks who want the entire back story, the books are still available for purchase.
